A bit about me
I’m a multi disciplinary creative from sunny Bolton. Focused on big ideas, art direction and an appreciation for craft across all platforms. I was named The Drum’s Young Designer of the Year and recognised as the 'Future of Design' in 2018 for my simple, witty approach to design.
After two years at various London design agencies and being told in every other crit, “Yes Jack, this is great but you’re presenting an advertising idea” I decided to bite the bullet and make the move into advertising via Tony Cullingham’s Watford course (RIP TC). While there, my creative partner and I picked up Black, White and Yellow D&AD New Blood Pencils and were featured in Cream as one of the top 10 emerging creative teams globally.
Since then, I’ve worked as a creative at Ogilvy UK and Ogilvy Paris, creating the Coca‑Cola’s Torch Relay event campaign for the Paris 2024 Olympics. I then joined The&Partnership, where I worked on Vuse and Velo, art directing shoots with the McLaren F1 Team. After that came The Gate, where I created a nationwide campaign for SMARTY Mobile, including billboards that flexed and stretched around lampposts.
Now back up north, I’ve been working independently. Most recently, I created a small batch Italian olive oil brand for a friend, which picked up a Pencil at this year’s D&AD.
I love collaborating with passionate people who get fired up about ideas and appreciate good craft.
